ADDICT NEEDING HELP IMMEDIATELY

Dear Readers,

My very best friend of over 20 years is a recovering addict with 4 children: ages 13, 4, 2, and 6 weeks. Her husband works away from home 20-25 days a month, leaving her alone with the children. She has no reliable family or support system in her area. She is smart and hard working, but is struggling immensely.

She lives near CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE. She relapsed not long ago. The pressure is going to kill her.

I can’t be there for her because she lives so far away. She NEEDS help ASAP.

She needs someone who can watch her kids so she can go to meetings every night. All of her local meetings are not allowing her to bring her 2 younger children to them any more. She also needs someone who can help tidy her house while she is at a meeting.

She needs support or she will die. I can assure you the money will be found to pay the right person to help her.

TN Lawmakers Want to Silence Educators on Non-straight

On Wednesday, April 13, State Senator Stacey Campfield will introduce his “Don’t Say Gay” bill (SB049) to the Senate Education Committee. As introduced, the bill requires that “no public elementary or middle school shall provide any instruction or material that discusses sexual orientation other than heterosexuality. “

This bill would tie the hands of school counselors, school psychologists, teachers, principals and other school employees in protecting our children. If a child is experiencing issues relating to their sexual orientation or identity, they would be unable to discuss those issues with the adults who are supervising and teaching them. Early detection of the signs of depression can help prevent suicides among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.

The problem is — and dare I say this — it doesn’t look like Michelle Obama follows her own nutritionary, dietary advice. And then we hear that she’s out eating ribs at 1,500 calories a serving with 141 grams of fat per serving, yeah it does — what do you mean, what do I mean?

What is it - no, I’m trying to say that our First Lady does not project the image of women that you might see on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, or of a woman [professional baseball player] Alex Rodriguez might date every six months or what have you. I mean, women are under constant pressure to look lithe, and Michelle My Belle is out there saying if you eat the roots and tree bark and the berries and all this cardboard stuff you will live longer, be healthier and you won’t be obese. Okay, fine, show us.
